Faith does not equal trust, doofus.
Certainly I trust my wife; I have very good reasons to believe
that she
places my welfare just about on the level of her own - this has
been borne
out many times in the past. I place emotional trust in her as
well. I
feel that the trust is well placed, again this has been borne out
by
experience.
Of course, I don't have any expectation that she will do things
that
aren't humanly possible, nor any that are totally
inexplicable. I have
no "faith" that our relationship will always remain as
it is - I merely
work at doing my part to ensure that it will.
I have similar, but not as deep trust in my friends and
family. There is
no faith involved.
