You're infected with the "religious missionary" meme.  You apparently

think that it's your duty to help these poor assholes out - even when they

haven't asked for that help.  What you want to do is proselytize - and

Is religion the scourge you allude to?  I think so.

Are you likely to change anyone's mind about it? Bloody unlikely.

 

If someone asks for your opinion, and your reasons, give them.  If they

"agree to differ", let 'em.  If they cannot accept that walk away - and if

they follow - make them leave you be.

But there's no reason to _preach_ at them.
