A bit about my images:

Currently, and for the last few years, I have been concentrating almost entirely on monochrome pen & ink drawings and color ink paintings. I am also a photographer, but that work is hosted elsewhere for reasons I won't go into here. Prior to this current revamp of my website, I had hundreds of images here, from as far back as twenty years, in many styles. Currently, all that is here is more recent ink-based work, from this century - and most of that is quite recent. All of it is abstract. And, though the images are all the same size here, the pieces themselves range from 3" x 5" to 17" x 24". As I mentioned, all of this work is abstract; my primary 2D influences are Wassily Kandinsky and Joan Miro. I do consider myself a sculptor as well, and I've been heavily influenced by the sculptors Henry Moore and Isamu Noguchi. I work with mostly 60-110# papers and Bristol board, and I use black Micron Pigma pens, Tombo brushpens, and Faber-Castell PTT brushpens as well as Higgins and P.H. Martins transparent water-based inks for painting.
